Nut and Geb were the god and goddess of the sky and earth, respectively. They had four children, Isis, Osiris, Seth and Nepthys. Isis and Osiris married, and ruled the other gods, including their siblings Seth and Nepthys, who were also married. Seth was insanely jealous and killed Osiris, scattering the pieces of his body around Egypt. Although Isis was able to re-construct him, they used a beeswax penis to conceive their son Horus. Other well-known gods and goddesses include Horus, for protection, Bastet, goddess of cats, Sekhmet, mother of Bastet known for her violent protection, Hathor, goddess of wine dancing and happiness, Thoth, god of wisdom and Astrology and many, many others.

Hope I helped!
