John 8.2-11 tells the story of how Jesus saved from being stoned a woman caught in adultery, but does not mention her name. The story appears in different places in some old manuscripts but does not occur in any manuscript prior to the end of the fourth century. If the author of John's Gospel was not really the author of this passage, we have reason to doubt whether it really happened at all, or whether the woman really existed. Perhaps the passage was intended to provide moral guidance for later generations.
I THINK ONLY JESUS KNOWS WHO SHE WAS

Mary Magdalene
Some believe that the woman that Jesus saved from being stoned by the crowd was Mary Magdalene. The Bible does not specify who the woman was, however.
The usual type of execution in Israel was stoning. After the Romans took over Israel they handled most of the executions which was by cruxifiction. But the Jews did execute upon occasion. Stephen was stoned. The woman caught in adultery was going to be stoned and Jesus was threatened with stoning (John 10:31).
Death by stoning.
Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about the importance for a man to be born again if he is to be saved and see the kingdom of God. On the other hand, Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman about the importance of drinking from the water of life.
Yes you can be saved by asking Jesus into your heart. As Jesus is always waiting for you to do it.
No, he wasn't saved, because he asked Jesus what he could do to be a witness for him.So no he wasnt saved when he went to Jesus.
