Samuel Stevens Jr. (born July 13, 1778 in Talbot County, Maryland; died February 7, 1860 in Talbot County, Maryland) succeeded Samuel Sprigg as the eighteenth Governor of Maryland, serving between December 16, 1822 and January 9, 1826, including the whole of 1823.
