Gideon Tomlinson (born December 31, 1780 in Stratford, Connecticut; died October 8, 1854 in Fairfield, Connecticut) succeeded Oliver Wolcott Jr. as the tenth Governor of Connecticut, serving between May 2, 1827 and March 2, 1831, including the whole of 1829.
