Yes Zahid Hussain was the founder and first Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan. He was a close aide of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah, and was instrumental in setting up a separate financial system for the fledgling state of Pakistan. He also served as the first high commissioner (ambassador) from Pakistan to India. He also was the first chairman of the Planning Commission and wrote Pakistan's first 5 year plan. He died in 1957. I am his eldest daughter's son.
