A speakeasy was not a person, it was a place. During the Prohibition Era, there were clubs that still served alcohol. You generally needed to know someone to get into them. They were called "Speakeasys" as when you were in there you weren't supposed to talk loud or the police would find the club and raid it. Thus you had to Speak Easy.
