Who receives more training Army Rangers or Marine Corps Scout Snipers?

You're really not likely to find much, if any difference as far as amount of training goes, but the Rangers and Special Forces are very different units, and each fills a very distinct and separate role than the other does. With each branch, their training will be related to their role - in the case of the Rangers, they are an elite infantry unit, and that will be their main focus. Special Forces does have an operational role, but they're geared more towards organising indigenous forces to support the US mission, and will train in areas such as linguistics and learning various customs of different areas where they'll be expected to operate.

∙ 14y agoYou're comparing apples and Oranges, as the roles and functions of the two are very different. All in all, you would likely find that the amount of time spent in training wouldn't be much different, but the type of training would differ greatly between the two.

Snipers have their own training program, in all branches. For a sniper serving in a special operations unit, such as the Army Rangers or Special Forces, Marine MARSOC, Navy SEALs, et. al, they will also have to undergo that training, as well.
Are the Marine Scout Snipers better than the Army Special Forces Snipers?
The abilities of each as shooters depends on the individual... whichever one is a better shot is going to be the better shot, no matter what branch they're in. As for Special Forces and Marine Scout Snipers, they're trained in rather different roles. A Marine Scout Sniper would not be trained in everything a Green Beret would be trained in, nor would a Green Beret have the same priorities in training as a Marine Scout Sniper.

No, its a biological fact that females do not have as much physical strength as males. Its called testosterone, it keeps females from competing with men, and until females can compete with men (aka never), they cannot be put into combat arms. ^-- They only can't do this because it's a rule to military. Some of the best snipers in history are females, they can do just as good as a man despite biological differences.
