Got the Magic - Celtic Harp Orchestra album - was created in 2003.
The harp and guitar are both, sometimes used in the orchestra ( the harp more than the guitar ). The instrument known as the "harp-guitar" is a very rare hybrid instrument. Most of its repetoire is in solo pieces and chmber music. It is not a regular member of the symphony orchestra.
baroque
When called for in the score, it could be on the left behind the strings, or on the right behind the cellos. If it is a solo instrument, it will be up next to the conductors podium. Sometimes, in small orchestra pits (at the opera etc.), it can be near the centre. Often, the harp is just placed where it will fit.
I think the Harp is bigger. I think it's more inconvenient to carry around anyway.
it belongs in the my mum family babee :)
