We all know that Juliet had drugged herself to put her in a temperary state of death so Romeo could come and rescue her. Though, Romeo only got the message that she was dead, not the fact that it had been faked. So, he brought poison to her crypt, laid down beside her, and drank the poison, killing him. Soon, Juliet had woken up, seen the goblet of poison in Romeo's hand. Knowing he was dead, she took a dagger and stabbed herself.

Juliet was not poisoned by anyone but herself.

She did not die from her initial dose but stabbed herself to death towards the end of the story.

Romeo and Juliet were secretly married by Friar Laurence.

After the events leading to the deaths of Mercutio and Tybalt and Romeo getting exiled from Verona, the Prince demands Juliet marry Count Paris and threatens to kill Romeo if he returns to Verona.

Juliet does not, of course, want to marry Count Paris so she seeks help again from Friar Laurence. He gives her a drug of sorts that will put her into a deep coma for 'two and forty hours'. The Friar makes a promise to Juliet that he will send a messenger to tell Romeo of Juliet's plan to fake her death to get out of marrying Count Paris, so Romeo can rejoin Juliet when she wakes up.

The night before the wedding between Juliet and Count Paris is to take place, Juliet takes the sleeping drug. When she is discovered, she is put in the family crypt.

Before the messenger can reach Romeo, the servant Balthasar tells Romeo of Juliet's death. Romeo of course, is beside himself with grief and buys some poison and goes to the Capulet crypt. Paris happens to be there, himself mourning the death of Juliet. Paris confronted Romeo and was killed by Romeo.

Romeo then drinks the poison he bought and dies.

Juliet awakens and finds Romeo dead from the poison.

She is horrified and takes his dagger into her hands and kills herself with it.

Juliet wasn't poinsoned at all! she stabed her self in the chest to be with Romeo!

There are multiple murders that take place in romeo and Juliet. Marcutio* is killed by Tybalt, Julia's cousin. Then since Tybalt killed Marcutio, Romeo killed Tybalt. When Romeo is sent out of Verona since he kills Tybalt, Juliet fakes a death so that she can escape to be with Romeo. When Romeo sees Juliet die, he doesnt realize it is fake and poisons himself.
