The first man or human being created by God or Allah Subhanahu wata'ala (SWT) is Adam (pbuh). He was created from several types of clay picked up by the Angel 'Izrail (later to become the Angel of Death) from the earth. Like the angels and all the jinns (later to become Iblis or satan), Adam was created to submit to the Will of God or Allah SWT and to worship Him and no other. Islam is a religion where its followers the Muslims are to submit to the Will of Allah and to worship Him and no other. So, the first man, a Muslim, to inhabit this world is Adam to be followed by his wife Eve or Hawa.
