Who is first Muslim in world?
Adam (Peace be upon him). Yes indeed, Adam as is the first human being created by Allah swt in Heaven. Adam was created from several different types of clay from this earth and the Heaven. Adam (just like the Jinns & the Angels) was created to submit to the Will of Allah and to worship Him and no other (which Islam represents until today and the end of time in this universe). Having said that Adam is actually the first human being and a Muslim, created by Allah; whilst his wife Hawa or Eve is the 2nd human being, a Muslim, created by Allah.

They are called 'Sahaba' in Arabic that means the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) companions. However, per the universal sense of Islam Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peac…e be upon them all) are the first Muslims.

The Muslim is the one following Islam. Islam means in Arabic full submission to God the one and only one God and means peace that is fulfilled by full submission to God. In th…is universal sense, the first Muslim is Adam (peace be upon him). Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him also is named in Quran as the first Muslim per Quran revelation to him by God through the angel Gabriel (Jibril). Quran says (meaning English translation): "Say (O Muhammad SAW): 'Shall I take as a Wali (helper, protector, etc.) any other than Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? And it is He Who feeds but is not fed.' Say: 'Verily, I am commanded to be the first of those who submit themselves to Allah (as Muslims) '. And be not you (O Muhammad SAW) of the Mushrikun [polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah" [Quran, Chapter 6, verse 14] and Quran says also: "Say (O Muhammad SAW): 'Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (162) He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I (Muhammad) am the first of the Muslims '." [Quran, chapter 6, verses 162-163]
The first person to convert to Islam was Al-Sayida Khadijah Bint Khuwaylid.
Short answer: Since start of mankind Long answer: As long as the Arabic language, along with its sister languages, Hebrew & Aramaic, have been around, Muslims have been the…re. 'Muslim' means, in Arabic, a submitter, referring to someone who submits their will to God. Anyone, in Islam, is considered a Muslim if they do this (many Muslims consider Christians and Jews as submitters also). Also, Muslims also consider any old testament prophet (Adam, Abraham, Moses, Noah, etc) as a Muslim, since they submitted to God's will and not their own. Usually, Muslims will regard anyone believing in the monotheistic God of Abraham as a Muslim. So, in essence, Muslims existed before even Islam religion per Quran revelation to prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel that started in year 610 AD through year 632 AD (year of prophet Muhammad PBUH death)
They think that god [Allah] created the world
Muslims are the same as everyone else in this world. Some are rich, some are poor, most are in between; some are educated, some not so much; some work very hard, some do not; …some are very good to their families, some are not. Just like everyone else. The question was regarding the wealth of Muslims of the world, are they more well off than the rest of the world. Some are, some are very wealthy. But so is Oprah, so is Bill Gates. You can't know the different people of the world without some perspective.. My comments on the above opinions : - Yes, people are people all over the world. & people in Islamic communities are no exception, you may find poor people, rich people & those in between. Also, there are people who are very wealthy such as Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal who tops the list, despite the recession going on around the world, he managed to increase his wealth by up to $1 billion just in the year 2009. Based on the records, his wealth in 2008 only amounted to $17.1 billion, so his wealth in 2009 amounted to $18 billion. All of his wealth is generated from Kingdom Holding Co, and his other Riyadh-based companies. - About the Muslim woman, you can find very rich & well-educated Muslim women. Islam makes it a duty on each Muslim to beseech for knowledge & science as the prophet Muhammad PBUH stated, also the Muslim woman doesn't have to cover her expenses by herself, her father &/or her grown up brother have to cover them, especially her essential needs " food, drink, dress & treatment in case of being ill " this responsibility becomes her husband's when she get married. If a Muslim woman covers the expenses of her family this is considered as a charity work from & not a duty. also, the Muslim woman has her right in the heritage from her relatives as it's commanded in the Holy Quran, & she also has the right of her groom's endowment as they agree before the marriage. moreover, she can work outside her house in any good, useful & suitable job. Since the time of the prophet Muhammad PBUH there were Muslim women who had been working for example as nurses. Islam dose not prevent her from attending such productive jobs , it only prefers her staying at home to look after her family & bring up her children as her most honourable function in the Islamic community, today there are Muslim women who work as doctors, teachers, lawyers, judges, ministers..etc. the list can go on & on. As you may infer, the Muslim woman can be rich & perhaps richer than the man as she has a stronger opportunity to be. All in all, in Islamic countries as all the rest of the world, you can find poor & rich, illietrate & scientists, men & women, generalizations can't be applied. It's also good to tell that the work of the man to feed his family & cover their expenses is also considered as a charity & Allah will reward him due to this work even if this is a duty on him.

Islamic Traditional Answer The first man or human being created by God or Allah Subhanahu wata'ala (SWT) is Adam (pbuh). He was created from several types of clay picked up …by the Angel 'Izrail (later to become the Angel of Death) from the earth. Like the angels and all the jinns (later to become Iblis or satan), Adam was created to submit to the Will of God or Allah SWT and to worship Him and no other. Islam is a religion where its followers the Muslims are to submit to the Will of Allah and to worship Him and no other. So, the first man, a Muslim, to inhabit this world is Adam to be followed by his wife Eve or Hawa. Historical Answer In terms of historical facts, Hinduism was formed when Aryan traditions interacted with those of the Indus River Civilization in 1500 B.C.E. Hinduism has never been truly formalized with edicts and doctrinal statements like Islam has been. Islam, as a functional religious group, was started by Mohammed in Saudi Arabia in the 600s C.E., nearly 2100 years after Hinduism.
It is Saudi Arabia. Yes it is indeed Saudi Arabia, where the Prophet Muhammad SAW was born, raised and was ordained by Allah through His Arch Angel Jibril (Gabriel) as His las…t Prophet or Messenger when he was 40 years old. He subsequently went on to spread the messages of Allah (revealed to him in God's words by Jibril) to the Arabs of the Arabian peninsular from Mecca right up to Medinah, over a period of 23 years. Finally the majority of the Arabian peninsular state population embraced Islam as the only faith and the first Muslim nation was born. Muhammad SAW became the first head of state of this first Islamic nation with the Syariah laws implemented nationwide.
Sunni Muslims are those who follow the sunnah (way of life) of the prophet Mohammed PBUH. Way after he died when his grandson, Ali, took the Caliph's position, people started …developing new forms of worship such as punishing themselves for letting one of Ali's son get killed..and this is when "shi'at Ali" or Shi'a Muslims started forming. Therefore, Sunni Muslims existed first.
