Who is at risk with teenage pregnancy?
If you live in a country with good health care and access to healthy food etc no one is at risk. Teens can have a little bit higher risk because they don't always stick to eating healthy etc but that is individual.

Teen pregnancy can be a serious social issue. By definition it is when a single teenager becomes pregnant. Mere age is not the main challenge, since it was once not uncommon f…or people to marry in their teens and begin their families. However, in today's society it is very difficult to survive economically if you don't have a certain level of education or job skills. For this reason, when a teenaged girl becomes pregnant, both the young mother AND the young father can be trapped for life in a downward socio-economic cycle. Their potential for success, and that of the baby and any other children they may have, becomes seriously stunted. In addition, teens in general are usually not developmentally or psychologically ready to carry and care for a baby and this can contribute to many other difficult problems for their young family. For reasons such as these, teen pregnancy does not only affect the teens themselves (which is sad enough on its own) but also contributes to other social issues that affect the wider community.
High if you do it when you ovulate or have unprotected sex less than a week before you ovulate since sperms can live inside you for up to a week.
Teenage pregnancy these days are very common but that doesnt mean we should all practice it.. The risk factors are as these listed. ~You risk having your parents lose trust …in you and being upset.. ~ Its against all religion unless if youre married during your teenage years.. ~ The father of the child might not be able to support the child financially and to support you also.. ~ You might get distracted during studies or your parents might have you drop out due to the situation. ~ You might risk having people missjudge you as someone who is not morally educated and this might affect the way people think about you.. ~ And in many cases teenages that get pregnant will choose to terminate the child rather than to keep, but abortion can lead to many health problems and also emotional problems.. I say its better to keep yourself protected until you are ready for the choice of having a child with the right person in future and also when you are financially stable and preferably when you are married.. Good luck. xoxo

Mainly, STIs and pregnancy. Make sure to use protection, and if you are a woman, talk to your doctor about birth control as soon as you become sexual active, or if you plan on… being sexually active. Keep in mind that it takes about a month for birth control to work properly in your system, so until that time, make sure to use a secondary form of birth control, such as a condom. In fact, it's better to use a secondary form at all times anyway. Get tested regularly, and when entering a new relationship, it is perfectly acceptable for you to request your new partner to get tested as well. If they refuse, then they obviously don't respect you enough to ensure a healthy sexual relationship, and are therefore not worth it :) Since you may not always be prepared, have an extra condom or two in your purse (ladies), especially if you are going out and will be drinking. We often make bad calls when we're drunk, so it's better to be prepared than have the worry the next morning. However, don't carry them in your wallet or any place that friction can affect the wrapper. I recommend an empty make up compact.
Females between the ages of 13-19.

They are pretty high if you do premarital sex, so, don't do it if you don't want the pregnancy!
not always. Sadly,, the teenager could have been raped, and therefore have no control over her getting pregnant. The teenager may be sexually active and not have planned for …a baby- which is more common. However, there are many teenagers who plan to become pregnant, and will do whatever it takes to fall pregnant.
because of companies selling them things that taste good but are unhealthy like McDonalds, chocolate, lollies
They're still in high school, and most don't have jobs.
