Their son Raymond J. Harbert manages the money, and he started his own company Harbert Management Corporation in 1995. This investment management company has grown into a wildly successful firm with over $16 billion under management and offices in Birmingham AL, Richmond VA, New York, Nashville TN, London, Warsaw, and Madrid.
The Marguerite Jones Harbert Building at Birmingham-Southern College is named after her.
