Prejudice is the personal irrational generalization about an entire category of people (be it based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.); it is a feeling or belief. Discrimination is the treatment of people in a negative or distinct fashion because of their membership in a category of people (be it based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.). Discrimination can be shown in demonstrable actions, such as laws, housing, jobs, etc.
Predjudice and discrimination are basically the same thing but they are different prejudice Alouthough people relate it mostly to racism to african americans it actually means your against something with no reason or for unreasonable reasons. discrimination means treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit. So I guess you could say they are both related because they both mean to be against something for reasons someone cannot help. also you could say there both against something i guess but it wouldn't be very descriptive.
Discrimination in psychology is the ability to tell apart a conditioned stimulus from other things that are not related. This mostly involves behaviors or actions which are considered to be negative.
Generalization occurs when an animal responds to a second stimulus similar to the original BS without prior training with the second stimulus. Discrimination is the ability to respond differently to different stimuli. These two processes are related to classical conditioning because associations are being made between a neutral stimulus and an unconditioned stimulus, thus, allowing the subjects to learn.
The frustration/aggression theory states that frustration will lead to aggression If people have difficult living conditions (for example) but have no reasonable target to blame this frustration on, they displace their aggression onto another group/target. Such a target is usually weaker/more vulnerable. Related study: Hovland and Sears (1940) - negative correlation between the number of lynchings of black people and the price of cotton
The government is showing discrimination by detaining all U.S. citizens and immigrants of Arab decent.

Prejudice is related to preconceptions because when someone has preconceived notions about someone, they tend to judge them before they know them, which is the basic definition of prejudice

Blacks and whites in the United States shared several problems, such as economic inequalities, access to quality education, and healthcare disparities. They both faced discrimination and prejudice, although the severity and forms of discrimination were often different. Additionally, both groups had to address issues related to systemic racism and social justice, albeit from different perspectives.
Such a chart is in the Wikipedia article, Pride and Prejudice. I have put a link to it in the Related Links section below.
