However as stated in Mattew19:4-8 and Mark10:2-9 a man would leave his mother and father and stick to his wife and the two would be one flesh. Note the phrase "one flesh" a person who is a polygamist cannot be one flesh with multiple wives.

- I am personally against polygamy. However, I prefer to have the right for it just in case I need it for any reason as life illness of wife, need for a child if the present wife has medical problems to give, or any other reason (however, to have a second wife should be with the approval and blessing of the first one).
- Banning polygamy plus banning divorce may motivate you to practice religiously forbidden sexual relations.
