This question is In to Aspergers Syndrome and Learning Disabilities. People with AS are usually normal to above normal intelligence. They also tend to favor and become close to obsessive with certain things/studies and this may cause others to view them as being very intelligent however they are not savants or at least not all of them.
A savant is one like with a photographic memory or one who excells in many or all mental exercises such as math and science. This may also be a result of having a learning disability, a birth defect, ect.
