You will want to get advice from the baby's doctor before having the baby get flu shots, but infants under 6 months are not given the flu shots. From ages 6 months to age 2, it would be best to be sure the doctor agrees that the child should be vaccinated (although in most cases it is being recommended).

How do you know if you have had Swine Flu?

Unless you were tested when you were ill, there is really no way to know for sure which type of flu you may have had. If you were not tested at the time, to be sure you have immunity to the swine flu, it is advised that you get a vaccination. It will not hurt you if you already had the same flu, and it can prevent another illness if the flu you had was a different strain. For best protection from the flu during the 2009-2010 flu season, get both a swine flu vaccination and a seasonal flu vaccination.

Can you have your usual flu vaccination if you are 74 years old and have scarlet fever and on antibiotics?

It is usually recommended that you wait until any infectious disease is gone before getting a vaccination. With an active infection, your body is already stressed trying to combat it, if you get a vaccination for another type of microbe (the flu virus), the immune system must do "double duty" to create the immune response that produces immunity to the flu strains in the vaccination. The best plan for you is to contact your physician for advice that is best in your specific situation.
