Let me make a quick little chart, and then I'll explain. A B

\ /

AB

|

O

Okay, now for the real answer. So, if you're O, you can give to everyone and recieve from everyone. If you're AB, you can give to A and B, and recieve from A and B. If you're A or B, you can give to and recieve your own blood type. So basically, you can give and recieve from the types above you on the chart.

== == * O can be donated to any other group. * Acan be donated to either A or AB, but not O or B. * B can be donated to either B or AB, but not O or A. * AB can only be donated to AB; it cannot be given to O, A or B. * Rhesus negative can be given to anybody; positive can only be given to positive.
