∙ 11y agoIt depends on what type of gambling. There is Indian Gambling (which occurs in Indian run Casinos) There is charitable gambling. There is commerical gambling and then there is a lottery which the State runs.
Only two states make gambling completely illegal (even Bingo) which are
Hawaii and Utah.
Other states outlaw certain types of gambling. For example, California allows Indian gaming since the reservation is not apart of California, but you cannot build a Casino in Los Angeles.
Then there are states that allow all types of gambling, like Oklahoma and Michigan. Hope this helps!
