(Matthew 22:34-40) "...One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him,
"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"
And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
This is the great and foremost commandment.
The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
Possibly the greatest commandment is not a commandment at all. But what lies in the purpose of God creating humans.
And what that purpose is essentially to glorify God. Humans are creations of God and we were solely made to glorify him and his greatness.
When one glorifies God, he or she will follow all the commandments. Because he or she is glorifying God by following the commandments.
Who has the greatest love of all? God. why? If a teacher could love her whole advisory class, WELL GOD COULD LOVE THE WHOLE OF US IN THIS WORLD.
COMMANDMENTS OF GOD:EXODUS 20:2-17
Is it clear to you now people. STAY BETTER THAN TO BE WORSE.
There were ten commandments in the Old Testament. They were a list of basic things God commanded his people to avoid. In the new testament, Jesus was askedwhat was the greatest commandment. Here's the verses:
Matthew 22:36-40
36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Matthew 22:34-40, Mk 12:28-31 (NIV)
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Love is the great commandment.
From the Jewish perspective, the greatest 'mitzvah' given to use in the Torah, is the mitzvah of 'tzedakah'. The word tzedakah literally translates as 'justice'. However, in modern times it's used to refer to giving charity.
Please see the related link for a great explanation as to why tzedakah is considered the greatest of the mitzvot (pl).
Love one another as yourself.
Generally we avoid assigning ranks to the Torah-commands, since they are all important. But we can confidently say that the most important thing in Judaism is recognizing the existence of God. The second-most important would be accepting the Torah, or repudiating idolatry. Both are vital. All the other commands are important, but these three are foremost.
You shall love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind and soul.
Belive in me
Nothing. It's a commandment.

Jesus Christ answers for us. When asked the question, "Which is the greatest commandment in the law?" he answered: "'You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this: 'You must love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets." (Matt. 22:35-40, NW)

Christians love God, their fellow creatures, and themselves. These are elements of the greatest commandment-- 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. (Matthew 22:37-40 NIV).

Jesus Practice love in everything. He said Love was the greatest commandment.
By entering the flock or fold, or joining the true Church of Christ. Keep and obey the commandments of God. The greatest commandment: Love God with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your soul. Second greatest commandment: Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Another important commandment: Obey your parents, unless what they tell you to do is against the Will of God. Always pray. Have faith. Do good deeds. Love like Christ does. Forgive. Understand. And submit your heart to God. Best wishes to you.
