Looking at the solar spectrum, the curve peak is around wavelength 0.45(microns) falling under the ultraviolet band. This ultraviolet band runs from 0.30 - 0.45. This curve then drops off rapidly and exponentially when under "air mass 0" conditions (outer space) in "air mass 1" conditions (the earths surface) the spectrum follows this curve, with intensity's reduced however as our atmosphere adsorbs some wavelengths better than others the curve tends to jump too and from the trend while still maintaining the exponential decline as seen under air mass 0 conditions. So in short ultraviolet I guess would be the sortest answer ^-^ -Jason MEng
red and :)
Magenta
the sun since it is white light it has more color. plants have better photosynthesis when in blues and reds light which are absorbed. green is not used so it is reflected giving the color of green in most plants.
yes contact lenses and being in the sun
All cells "capture" energy, and are able to convert that energy into food. Plant Cells (Prokaryotes) capture the energy emitted from the sun and convert that into energy so they can survive (Photosynthesis).
up your noise
Ozone shields living organisms from harmful ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. Without the ozone layer, plants could not survive. Ozone depletion causes increased risks of skin cancer and cataracts in humans.
green
The photosphere
''Charged particles emitted by the sun'' into space is called solar wind.
In fact, radiations are reflected by earth but not emitted.
electromagnetic
Longer than those emitted by the Sun
they are longer than those emitted by the sun.
Bubbles of ionized gas emitted from the Sun are called Coronal Mass Ejections or CMEs for short.
The stream of protons and electrons being emitted from the sun is called the solar wind.
The surface temperature of the sun is roughly 5,800K, so the color of most of the photons that leave the sun's surface is green.
Various things are emitted byt the sun - light and heat are the best known but other electromagnetic waves such as gamma rays are also emitted. Theoretically gravitons are sent out too
