All type of sometic cells undergo mitosis....

and germ cells undergo meiosis.

Any cells that must occasionally replace itself goes through mitosis. This type of cell go through regular interphase and go through mitosis when necessary. However, it does not include the neurons, cells prominent in the makeup of the spinal cord and the brain. It also doesn't include gametes, because gametes undergo meiosis, not mitosis.
