Milk Chocolate.
In 1875 Daniel Peter figured out how to combine milk and cocoa powder to create Milk Chocolate.
The first chocolate he made was milk chocolate Hershey bar.
Chocolate Milk - band - was created in 1974.
The first person to separate cocoa solids from cocoa butter was an unknown employee at the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company in 1865, and it was a Swiss man called Daniel Peter who first brought milk chocolate to market in 1875. Milton Hershey adapted this formula for milk chocolate to create the first chocolate bar in 1900 and chocolate then became a product for the mass market.
Chocolate Milk - album - was created on 1995-08-31.
Chocolate Milk was first made in 1831.
Sir Hans Soloane added milk to chocolate for the first time and invented chocolate milk. Yummy!
Today there are multiple Swiss chocolate manufacturers who all claim responsibility for inventing the first milk chocolate. However, the first milk chocolate was the product of the collaboration between Henry Nestle, a maker of condensed milk, and his friend Daniel Peter. In 1876 Peter started experimenting with mixing milk and chocolate for a less bitter chocolate but his first attempts failed because the high water content in milk didn't allow proper binding. After eight years of experimenting he finally struck gold when mixing Nestle's condensed milk instead of fresh milk thus creating the first "milk chocolate". Peter then started his own business called: "Peter, Cailler, Kohler" and solely relied on Nestle's condensed milk. In 1929, Nestle eventually acquired "Peter, Cailler, Kohler". The first milk chocolate however was only a beverage and not a bar like we are used to today. The step from liquid to bar was made possible in 1879 by Rodolphe Lindt who was the first to add cocoa butter back to the mixture thus creating the solid chocolate bar as we know it today! Although the above information is correct, milk chocolate was first invented quite some time earlier. The first milk chocolate appeared in 1689 as a drink made in Jamaica by Hans Sloane and apparently used for medicinal purposes
the first chocolate was invented in AD 600, by the Aztecs. But, it wasn't like a chocolate bar or anything, it was a drink which tasted bitter and disgusting because there was no milk, or even sugar. However, the first chocolatebar like the ones we eat now where properly invented by Herni Nestle 1875, which had added milk, and in the shape of a BAR!
