The descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles is commonly referred to as Pentecost, and ocurred in Jerusalem:
While meeting with them, he [Jesus] enjoined them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for "the promise of the Father about which you have heard me speak; for John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the holy Spirit." Acts 1:4 NAB. (see also Acts 1:8, 12)
Also, during his speech at Pentecost, St. Peter widens his address to other on-listening citizens of Jerusalem, indicating that he is indeed speaking in Jerusalem:
You who are Jews, indeed all of you staying in Jerusalem. Let this be known to you, and listen to my words. Acts 2:14 NAB.

∙ 14y agoPentecost occurred 50 days after Easter. See Acts chapter 2. The Holy Spirit rushed upon the Apostles (and maybe other disciples? I am not sure) and the Blessed Virgin. It is also the birthday of the Church.
