Moses was born in Goshen, Lower Egypt. He was sent in a basket down the nile river. He was found in an Egyptian palace and was taken by the princess. There, he grew up and became the prince of Egypt. Then, they discovered he was Hebrew (He did'nt know) and kicked him out of royalty and he became a slave. That poor guy!

The Biblical Moses, as well as his brother Aaron and sister Miriam, were born to
Amram and Jocheved of the tribe/family of Levy, during the Israelites' captivity
and servitude in Egypt. None of them ever entered the promised land.
