Mine is a 5 speed, and I don't know if it's different for an automatic. However, if you're laying under the car, look to the right toward the front of the engine. There's a plastic cover protecting the undercarriage. You'll see an access hole in that cover right below the filter. The filter threads up.
Note: Oil will run down your arm as you remove the filter so you may want to use a rag to keep your grip and the oil off your arm. I also recommend laying a rag on the cover directly below the filter to catch oil that drips. It's hard to clean otherwise. A pair of latex or nitrile gloves is a good idea too.
There should be a black box located on the left, inside your engine bay, mine's made out of plastic, your air filter should be located in there.
