The Horn Relay for a 1971 Plymouth satellite is in the fusebox driverside behind brake pedal it is part of the box and it is possible to replace it with any standard relay
Under the hood
ih the fusebox
It is important to know what is causing problems in a car. When the horn relay clicks, but the horn does not sound, it is not a fuse but more likely to be the cars clock spring.
HI WERE IS THE HORN RELAY GO
Should be mounted jusr ahead of the radiator near the passengers side horn.
the wire is green with a black tracer. melvin
Push in the horn ring in slightly on both sides and turn just the chrome horn ring counterclockwise. This is for the 2 spoke ring only.
I also have a '71 Plymouth Fury, and am in the process of replacing the horn relay. It is located in a fuse panel under the driver's side of the dashboard, near the floor. Just crawl under the steering column to find it. I know where it goes, but I can't seem to find a replacement horn relay anywhere! I ordered one from JC Whitney and it was the wrong one. Good luck, though!
There is no relay for the horn!
The relays are located on the driver side inner fender... I heard that you can take the horn relay out and change it with the fuel pump relay and if the fuel pump works and horn doesnt then you know that it was the relay... Fuses are easy to check, just look at it, if it is broken then its the fuse.
where is Horn relay on 1996 buick century.??
I have a 1999 Plymouth Breeze. The fuses and horn relay switch is under the drivers dash. Open the drivers door and there is a panel that comes off. I replaced my relay switch and the fuse is good, but my horn still will go off by itself. So it was not the relay switch. Can't figure out what the problem is? The horn contact under the airbag has shorted due to the insulating washers breaking down, Remove airbag and replace collar washers. See my other post for detailed procedure. 10 Minute job if you have the replacement insulators in hand.
