The Explorer was introduced in 1991. In the 1991 and 1992 Explorers the fuse panel is underneath the dashboard between the steering column and the driver's door.

If you are still looking for the Fuse Panel Layout for a 1991 Ford Explorer, I have it. I got an owners manual for a 1992 Ford Explorer and the Layout is the same. I will be happy to scan it and email it to you with all the other info that goes with it.. please feel free to email me at rabbittrage@gmail.com The fuse panel for the 1991 Explorer is the same at the fuse panel in Explorers from 1990 to 1995. So if you can get your hands on an owners manual for another Explorer in that age range you should be all set.. :) Stephanie.. :)
You can view the 2005 Ford Explorer owners manual ( which includes the fuse diagrams ) online at : www . motorcraft service . com ( no spaces ) Click on Owner Guides
The fuse for your 2002 Ford Explorer Sport is similar to that of the 2001 Ford Explorer Sport.
Start by checking the fuse. The 1991 to 1994 Ford Explorers have a 15 amp fuse in location # 17 of the fuse panel for the fuel gauge. (according to my Haynes repair manual)
Where is the fuse box diagram for a 1998 Ford Explorer?
where is the 4x4 fuse located in a 2002 ford explorer.
The sending unit for the fuel gauge is inside the fuel tank with the electric fuel pump ( I believe fuse # 17 - 15 amp - is for the fuel gauge on a 1991 Ford Explorer )
In the kick panel next to the driver's left foot.
1 fuse for all turn signals-try replacing bulb
