Where is the best place to retire in the US?
It depends entirely on what you like. If you have a lot of money and want to retire somewhere warm, a lot of people go to the Las Vegas area, Florida or Scottsdale Arizona. If you're looking for somewhere inexpensive to live that is also warmer in the winter, there are some communities around Northern Arizona, Southern Utah, New Mexico and Brownsville Texas that are a little less expensive and still warm... but maybe you like skiing and want to retire to Aspen or Park City. There are great communities all around the country. You just have to decide what you like. Retirement Florida of course. Its nice and warm and relaxed. I suggest buying a condo AWAY from the shore (for hurricane season).

Generally, one would agree a great place to live would include cost of living, job opportunities, school levels, low crime level, and geographically well located near the ocea…n, mountain or similar attraction. I personally view (within the US) Georgia, specifically North side of Atlanta a great place to live. Also, I would pick Utah's state capital and Houston, in Texas. The simple answer is: Where you enjoy the most and can afford it. But if the question relates to cost of living, low crime rate, no extreme weather, good low cost medical att…ention, proximity to USA, Nicaragua would match these criteria. At only 2 hour flight from Miami, FL, 3 hours from Houston or Atlanta, a JCI certified international Hospital with bilingual doctors, where a meal for two at an expensive steak house runs under $30 (without alcohol), 2,000 sq. ft homes rent for $1,000 per month and maid service for $150 monthly you can't beat it. It really depends on what type of longboarding you are doing. There are many different types of longboarding that need different types of terrain to skate on. For downhill the… best places are probably Colorado, California, and North Carolina. There are many great places to skate though. I am planning on doing a cross-country tour sometime to skate around the U.S. This is not close in the future but I will hopefully do this sometime in my life.
