Buddhist practices originated in what is today northeastern India and eventually spread throughout Asia to Tibet, China, Korea, Japan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and other countries. In the 20th century, these practices spread to North America and Europe. Today these practices have spread around the world.

In short, pretty much everywhere. Buddhism began in India, spread throughout Asia, and in the last, say 150 years or so it spread to Europe, the Americas, and the West. Not so sure about Africa but there's no reason to think there's nobody there practicing Buddhism.
