Read your owner's manual.
It is quite easy to install the 1992 Chevy Lumina brake light switch. The brake light switch simply plugs in and out.
you most likely need to change them
remove the trunk lining or bend it back easy where the brake light is to access it and change it out.
Check the bulbs, Check the fuse, Check the brake light switch, in that order.
Pull the release handle for the e brake and then while its pulled out pull up on the pedal
By repairing the problem. Low brake fluid, defective master cylinder, etc.
brake light plunger switch on the brake pedal maybe faulty, remove it and connect the two wires together and pull apart and see if lights go on and off
Bad stop light switch? Located at the upper end of the brake pedal under dash area
The signal light flasher on a 1992 Chevy Silverado is under the dash. It is on the driver's side just above the brake pedal.
if its burnt out, replace it, if not, check the wireing
