There is one cargo at each of four islands (all but The Main Land) that is always cheaper than the others, and can be sold for much more at the island immediately clockwise from that island, creating a circular trading pattern.
You can buy as much or as little of any cargo as you like, but always try to buy cheap and sell for more.
Buy silk cheaply at Dragon Cove and sell it for much more at Bouffant Bay.
Buy medicine cheaply at Bouffant Bay and sell it for much more at Parrot Port or Golden Harbor.
Buy grain cheaply at Golden Harbor and sell it for much more at the Pirate Outpost.
Buy spice cheaply at the Pirate Outpost and sell it for much more at Dragon Cove.
Of course, if your cargo hold is full, you cannot pick up any cargo salvage enroute (you will receive the doubloon part of the salvage).

∙ 13y agoAt Golden Harbor, you can sell any salvage, and especially Medicine that you may have purchased cheaply at Bouffant Bay. Since GRAIN is cheaply bought at Golden Harbor, you may want to take a shipload over to the Pirate Outpost, where it sells for MUCH more.
