In a 2002 Ford E-150 :
The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap /
radiator cap
( so with the engine cool you add antifreeze and preferably distilled water
into the engine coolant reservoir )
It came from the factory with a 50 / 50 mix of distilled water and the correct type of antifreeze for the vehicle , Ford states not to exceed 60% antifreeze in the mix
You Put The Antifreeze In The Coolant Resivore.. These Escape Don't Have A Radiater Cap..... Hope This Helps
Check with ford dealer or you can buy antifreeze that mixes w/ any types of antifreeze - but check first or you can cause problems
In the engine coolant reservoir in your engine compartment on the passenger side ( usually a 50 / 50 mix of antifreeze and preferably distilled water ) Ford states to not exceed 60 % antifreeze
Antifreeze has to be put in at the overflow bottle.
In the radiator.
" regular " unleaded / 87 octane
In the reservoir.
The alternator on a Ford E150 van is replaced by loosing the retaining bolts, removing the belt, disconnecting the wiring harness, and unbolting the alternator. A replacement alternator can then be put into place and reattached.
use a funnel and pour it down the dipstick.
You put it directly into the coolant over flow chamber.
you add coolant to e150 thru the radiator overflow bottle
To the left of the engine - in the coolant tank
