Well, unfortunatly you don't. You take it in, and they can do a flush as the only access point to the fluid is underneath the car. If you are concerned about the fluid level and it has been 33,000 miles since last fluid flush take it in and have it flushed. There they have a machince that sucks out the old fluid and puts new in.
There should be two dipsticks under the hood on a Malibu. One will be plainly marked "OIL" or "ENGINE OIL." The other one is your transmission fluid. This is assuming your Malibu has automatic transmission. If your Malibu has a manual transmission (stick shift), then there is no dipstick for transmission fluid -- manual trannies get lubrication from the engine oil.

On the top of the transmission there is a red cap. that cap comes off and you add fluid through there.
Add fluid where the dipstick is. Use a small funnel.
