All living things get their energy by eating food. Without food the body couldn't function, also food is the main source of energy for almost every living thing. You keep up your energy by sleeping but in order to get energy you need to eat food.

It all comes from natural things, like foods on the trees. Some things in the world are just natural, like fruit and vegetables they grow everyday. As for meat, animals hunt for meat so that's easy.
