These fruits look like apples, and the formation that grows at the end of them is what actually become the cashew nut, after a long process of roasting. The cashew tree originally grows in tropical climates such as Brazil, the tree is now widely grown in tropical regions, Vietnam and Nigeria, India, the Ivory Coast and Indonesia.
