"I Like Coffee I Like Tea" is a large family of playground rhymes
which has been documented as a jump rope rhyme as early as 1869.
Like most other children's rhymes, "I Like Coffee I Like Tea is
made up of a number of independent or semi-independent (stand alone)
verses. The title for these rhymes is also commonly given as
"I Love Coffee I Love Tea". Original children's jump-rope rhyme:
I love coffee. I love tea. I love the boys And they love me. Tell your mother To hold her tongue. She was the same When she was young. No more coffee. No more tea. No more boys And no more me.
