A fitting job for a 13 year old girl in the summer would be dog walking. In the summer, people are too hot and lazy to get around to walk their dog, and will pay a very good price for it. Also, a thirteen year old can do baby-sitting. Most parents to babies wish they had some time alone and pay a lot an hour. A paper route is also a pretty good job. All you do is get up and throw papers at people's house. How hard can these jobs be?
Sure they can but every state has child labor laws that restrict numbers of hours they can work per shift per week and not after a certain time of day....but the tough part is finding a employer willing as well as able to hire some one of the that age due to insurance...good luck to you
Kids are allowed to work in family businesses and farms. Most places require you to be at least 14 to get a work permit and to have a job. And even then the types of jobs and hours are restricted. You will have to check the laws for your state.
The easiest job to find is work for neighbors or babysitting.
Who knows I've been asking the same question for a long time !!
Check your local Mcdonald's.
the legal working age is 15.
