There is only one God. He "became" into existance though the event of becoming aware of light from darkness, which I interpret to mean, self-awareness (God is "the light.")
Myths of other "Gods", in my opionion, represent the earliest souls before they lost their way in "matter" and forgot their true nature and origin. Prophets are not to be confused with God. Prophets were chosen, in various religions, due to their high level of spiritual development, and by their own Will, to help awaken global masses of people stuck "in the dark."
