It has been announced that the DVD/Blu-Ray release will be between June and August 2010. The first release will in 2D, most likely with a deleted scenes section or an extended version. A later release will be in 3D but no time frame has been announced yet.

i want avatar on DVD aswell because avatar is like the best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the best place to watch avatar is a the imax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
