When the air conditioner runs it sounds like water running in the wall is this normal?

No, that is NOT normal, The reason it is making this sound is because the Air Conditioner is not draining correctly. This is either because you do not have it tilted towards the outside, or the drain is clogged.

∙ 15y agoNormally you would only hear that noise if your a/c is just coming on or has just been turned off. It is caused by the freeon in the condensor heating up and cooling off. That is NORMAL. However if it is always making that noise you may have something wrong with your a/c. Have it examined by a mechanic.
