It's always a good idea to ask your vet if you have any concerns regarding your dog. However, a droopy ear usually isn't a big concern, unless it's showing signs of malformation, injury, or discharge. Your dog probably just has a droopy ear. :)

How can I tell if my six month old baby has an ear infection?

You can tell that your six month old has an ear infection if he/she is restless, crying inconsolably and touching his/ her ear, due to the pain. You should probably call your pediatrician just to be on the safe side.

How do you treat Staffordshire bull terrier ear infections?

The best thing would be to take it to a vet as they will give you the proper medication to treat it. You can usually tell when a dog has ear infections by smelling the ear and if it has an unpleasant smell it is infected. Because Staffies have droopy ears they are more prone to ear infections.

Which dog is better a cockapoo or akita?

THE COCKAPOO: 1. Can live anywhere and need exercise 2. They can have health problem like cataracts and ear infection due to their long ,hairy ear 3. They need regular grooming 4. And they are easily trained THE AKITA: 1. Cannot live in an apartment and condos , and they enjoy any weather due to their double and weather proof coat 2. They get fair marks of health , suffer the usual large breed problem such as Prone to bloat and dysplasia 3.They shad twice a year so they should be groomed daily 4.And they are trainable if you start with them in a young age 5.If you have a family and wanted to bring one , and adult Akita (which is not used to your routine , and your family) they might be aggressive. A young Akita around 3 or 4 months would be the best age to bring them to you home.

What to do if your ear gauge rips?

Rips completely in two? Or just on the inside of the fistula? If torn in two, all you can do is basically get plastic surgery to fix it. If you stretched unsafely and ripped the inside of your ear hole, then you should downsize for about a month until it heals.

When given ear drops the ear should be pulled in which direction up or down or up and out?

the ear should be pulled sort of on a diagonal. a combination of down and out. that opens up the ear and the drops will successfully go into the ear!
