Bee pollen comes from a bee's body after he has visited many flowers. Health food stores often sell bottled bee pollen as purported remedy for a number of different things. Bee pollen as a treatment has not been backed by science, and really just takes valuable pollen away from the bee.
Nothing is known about bee pollen causing hyperactivity in humans. There are, however, many benefits to eating or using bee pollen.
Let us consider the bee, which is the most famous, and the most useful pollinating organism. The bee comes to a flower in order to drink the nectar and eat the pollen, but the bee is also covered with hair (the bee hair consists of extrusions of chitin, it is not the same as mamallian hair) and lots of pollen sticks to it. When the bee then visits other flowers, it brings with it the pollen that it picked up at an earlier flower. If some of that pollen gets into the right place on the new flower (the right place being the pistil) then it will pollinate the flower.
Date Palm pollen does it.
The pollen baskets on a honey bee are specifically for pollen. The bee collects nectar with its tongue and stores it in a sac within its body to transport it back to the hive.
It depends on the sise of the bee.
It collects the nectar and pollen (pollinating the flower).
