Sonic-X was NEVER canceled, it concluded. Cosmo saves the planet leaving Tails in Mental Breakdown and Chris left Mobius randomly, it wrapped up and ended. A season 4 will not be aired and season 3 is the final season of Sonic-X.

TMS cancelled Sonic X because it received bad reception from the Japanese audience.
