This has been an ongoing process that still isn't over. In 1920 women ( except black) got the right to vote with the 19th amendment. Yet, that still didn't give equal rights in many areas. As late as the 1980's the military wouldn't allow women to be fighter pilots, it was in the 1970's that women gained the right to have their own credit. Still, today some companies ( insurance is one) still keeps the main person as the husband. In 1991 I had to get my exhusband's signature to get my own car insurance. If you look at the number of women in government there are less than there are men. A few women run major companies and women as a whole are paid less for doing the same job as man.
women were treated badly they were treated like they belonged only at home and were not given full rights, full rights which were only entitled to men
In the past: never. In fact, some would argue that they still aren't treated equally. They did in the past. If not there being sexists.
Most women are sensitive and men like to be all tough and stuff like that.
When stereotypes about what women can and cannot do exist, and are acted upon, a woman's right to equality is facetious at best. If woman are not given equal opportunity there is no equality.
they treated mean some how they are like family
Practical gender needs: access to water, fuel, sanitation facilities, etc. Strategic gender needs: equal wages for work of equal value, women ability to participate in traditionally male tasks,
No. Everyone should be treated the same
There is no reason why women should not be treated as equals to men. And, there is no reason to argue otherwise.
Costa Rica women are treated well, although there are the some me who disagree on equal treatment.
Women were actually treated quite badly then - they could be sold, they could be beaten, and they could get killed by their husband-but the husband would not get punished! Women were treated lower than men, but now we are all treated equal.. Yesssss! I'm a 16 year old girl and i get treated absolutley fine...
No.Women are treated as subordinates and property of men.
she made everyone see how hard women work and for all women to be treated equal.
women in Sri Lanka aretreated almost equal to men
They were treated with equal rights as men.
the issues at stake were that women were being treated unequally
There are no gender roles because everyone, women and men, are treated equal.
Well all the women i guess are now equal. So they are fine to them.
Jesus did not have problems with women and treated them equal as the same with Paul. He also had no problems with women and appointed some of them in the cause.
women were treated fairly by their families in France.
