Since the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) was using the neutral countries of Lao's & Cambodia as routes of march & storage depots, the US bombed those areas and operated covert missions there. Unable to utilize US/Allied conventional ground forces in those areas, the US recruited the neutral Hmong people's living in those vicinities to provide that assistance. Due to the "estimated" low survival status of the Hmong people's, at the hand's of the conquering communist forces during the early 1970's, most of the Survivor's were evacuated to the US in 1975.
The dogs who were utilized in Vietnam were left behind when their handlers were ordered back to the states in 1973.
The Hmong Pahawh is written from left to right and is also read from left to right.
Because the US lost the Vietnam War and during the War the Hmong people had to sacrifice their lives to save American lives. That's why the came to America, to get away from the communist or they would be killed.
hmong people left laos because... the didnt want to be prisoners so they crossed the big river over to Thailand to not be prisoners...

The last U.S. forces left South Vietnam in 1973. The US Embassy was evacuated and the last advisers pulled out in April 1975.
The crossed the Mekong River into Thailand to live in refugee camps.
he never left
During the Vietnam War, the president at the time had asked Hmong people to help ambush a Viet Supply Line. He promised us that he would help rebuild our great civilization. General Vang Pao had took the offer and entered us in war. The Americans had supplied us weapons and we took the offensive. After the war was over, the vietnamese were mad at the Hmong for betraying the Laotion Gov. We were at war and the president didn't keep his end of the deal. He left the Hmong to fend for themselves with little protection. We were forced to hide in the jungles and flee to Thailand. Only a few Hmong had escaped to America thanks to General Vang Pao. My parents were some of the few that fled to America. So today, we still fight and live in fear. This is the Hmong people...
They have left the country and will not come back.
the US is liars! they said they will help us hmong people but left half of us in the jungles.. with no food no help... the US even tried to avoid us.. pretending that all the hmong people in the jungle is okay.... i hope that one day we can help our hmong people so they won't have to go thru with of this in the jungle.. it's like a living hell... _______________________________________________________________________ I also agree, i hope one day, us Americans can help the hmongs in the jungle, its like that Satan is taking us to H---e---l---l---
