The originally trilogy came out in 1991 and pressure from the fans convinced LJ Smith to write a fourth one, which was relased a year later.
She has a new trilogy out called 'The Return' and so far 'Nightfall' and 'Shadow Souls' have been released, with the last book, 'Midnight', due out in July.
