Okay, Kuwait is not a very evolved country (other than roads etc. and only because of the money they get from oil). Yet Kuwait is in the U.N and The Arab League.

It joined the Arab League in 16-May-05.

I checked my old social studies book and the internet and this is when Kuwait joined the U.N.

the information above is wrong. on 16 may 2005 women gained their political rights, but it joined the UN in 1963 and was member number 111 there.here are some information about kuwait 's history:- The state of Kuwait is a Constitutional hereditary Eemirate ruled by Al- Sabah Family.

- The ancient ruins found in Failaka island, which is called (Ikarus), date to the 3rd millennium BCE. These flourished until c. 1200 BCE. The Greek colonists settled the island in the 4th century BCE.

Kuwait was established in 1613.

Kuwait entered into defence treaty with the United Kingdom in 1899.

Kuwait gained its independence from the United Kingdom on 19 June 1961, but Kuwait celebrates its Independence (National) Day on 25 February to commemorate the day that H. H. Sheikh Abdulla Al-Salem Al-Sabah the late Emir of Kuwait (1950-1965) had ruled Kuwait.

Kuwait joined the Arab League in 1961.

Kuwait was one of the 5 founding members, with Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. OPEC was formed Sept. 1960.
