I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled 11 days ago. Two were grown in and two were partially impacted. I had the surgery at 8:00 in the morning and was eating ice cream by eleven o'clock. I had pudding later on that day, and more ice cream. On day two I added mashed potatoes and the Campbell's Soup To Go to my diet. All went well. By day four I was eating Pizza again. You just have to avoid crunchy stuff until your gums fully heal. A major factor in when and what you can eat will depend on the pain. I had no pain whatsoever in my jaw and only minor pain in my mouth. Hope this helps. Good luck!!
You can drink fluids as soon as you have enough feeling to swallow safely unless your dentist tells you otherwise. However, after any extraction, do not use a straw for a few days. The suction can dislodge the blood clot too soon and cause a very painful condition called dry socket.
Well i got my uppers removed and i did try to eat some soft soup like cream of mushroom it was ok but i would advise from eating anything you have to chew you have to give your gums a chance to close up and clot i would stick to soft foods for a week then move onto more solids after.
It depends on the person, there is no hard and fast rule.
Your tolerance of pain, whether or not the tooth and gum are infected and how many teeth and on which side(s) are all factors that can contribute to healing times.
If you get one tooth removed on one side and it's not infected, you will be able to eat normally a few hours later but you may notice an intolerance to spicy and acidic foods. In those conditions (One tooth, one side, not infected) you can expect a healing time of 3-10 days.
You will need to eat something before you start your pain medication, which they will advise you to start about two hours after they release you. Just try to stick with soft foods like mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, or grits and you can eat pretty much as soon as they released you. Also, note that soups or pudding (while soft) aren't recommended as a good meal before pain medication. Sucking on a straw is another thing to avoid as it can cause dry socket.
"regularly" meaning chewing on a steak, about 2 weeks. It depends on how complicated the extraction was. But in average it takes from a few days to a few weeks.
If you had dissolvable stitches and your 1 week follow-up was good, you should be off of your soft diet and resuming your regular diet.
After 3 hours you can eat solid food
a week
Provided it does not stay on the area where the tooth was and it is small and soft enough for you to chew, yes.
The 2nd day after your wisdom tooth extraction, you are restricted to soft foods such as jello.
yes
Eat hard foods like apples
You can eat prior to having a tooth extracted as long as you are only having a local anesthetic. Usually patients will opt for I.V. sedation for all four wisdom teeth.
well it depends how long after. if you eat it less than 7 hours after, its not recommended
tooth fish eat people tooth fish eat people tooth fish eat people
