In all modern versions of Windows these settings are in the registry, not in configuration files. An interface is provided for the more common settings but should only be changed by someone who understands the implications. Anyone who does not know how to acces these settings clearly should not be touching them.
Answer If you re-boot your computer it takes time to load your personal settings along with any programs that may be sitting on your desktop. Windows Vista is bad when it comes to re-booting. It's a big program and a pain in the butt for anyone who uses it.

Usually, as a consumer, you will receive a router already set in the factory default settings. But if you wish to fix it yourself, then the default Xfinity router login will be ‘admin’ for the default username and ‘password’ for the password. Reminder: You need to make sure that you change all these default Xfinity Router Login credentials before anyone else gets to have the chance to do it for you. It would be the only key that would reveal all your information online. It would also include all your bank details and your identification. routerloginonlinedotcom/xfinity-router-login/

Computers do not of their own accord give away your personal details. Typically, a user leaves data lying around on their computer that malicious individuals can easily access. If you have told your web browser to save your log-in info, most web browsers store all of your passwords unencrypted. They often have a way to encrypt them (using a master password, for example) but it is not enabled by default. Browsers also save all of your web history by default, and anyone can access them. If you are on an unencrypted connection, keep in mind that any personal data you enter on-line can be intercepted by anyone else on the network easily. If someone's looking for your data, even if they're not on your network, they may be able to recover it. One of the biggest things to worry about giving your personal data out on is websites like facebook and myspace. These webpages have very generous profile sharing options enabled by default, and they continually update their privacy policies and user's privacy settings to make any data you enter more open. The best way to avoid giving your personal data away to strangers is to not give it away at all. Always use encrypted connections, erase your browsing history or use private browsing options on public computers, and make sure that your passwords are not saved on a computer anyone can access.
which is not known by anyone
